GERBER PAPER

The Gerber Paper trading operation has been in existence since 1975. The business’ original focus was on supplying high quality sack and bag kraft papers imported predominantly from Scandanavia and South America.

• Originally established in Salisbury, Rhodesia (now Harare, Zimbabwe).
• In the early 1990’s, the business moved to its current location of Durban, South Africa.
• In late 2012, the company established an office and distribution center in Cape Town, offering for the first time paper and paper board to the commercial printers and packaging converters.
• In doing so, Gerber Paper expanded its paper offering to a wider base of customers covering several industries.

Today, the sack and bag market remains a core focus of Gerber Paper. The company has 5 offices and distribution centres covering all the main commercial hubs in Southern Africa, providing the market with the high quality service that it needs.
